Straight facts, no fluff
Booked at the last minute, the stay was surprisingly pleasant. The spacious Comfort Double or Twin Room featured lovely wooden furniture and large windows. Situated near Reeperbahn and metro stations, location was ideal. The breakfast selection was fantastic, though an additional charge applies. Staff were exceptionally friendly and stored our bags post-check-out. Worth it for convenience!

great access to parks and iconic landmarks during your stay
I loved how easy it was to walk to Planten un Blomen park, just a 15-minute stroll away, and the rich history of St Michael's Church is only about 1 kilometer from the hotel, making it perfect for a weekend of exploring the city. plus, the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean, catering well to solo travelers like me.

I had a recent stay at the Commodore in Hamburg and there were some highs and lows. The room I got, a Comfort Double, was quite spacious. Big windows let in a good amount of light, which made it feel airy. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and accommodating. Located just a short walk from the vibrant Reeperbahn, I found everything from restaurants to shops nearby, which was great for grabbing a quick bite or exploring. However, I noticed the room lacked coffee-making facilities. It would have been nice to brew a cup and enjoy it in the small smoking lounge they have, especially since I enjoy my morning coffee. The price felt on the higher side for what I received, considering I couldn't make coffee in the room or enjoy breakfast since I didn't opt for it. Plus, there were some mentioned temperature control issues. On the last day, I struggled a bit with the motion lights in the bathroom. it took me a while to figure them out. Overall, the stay was pleasant thanks to the location and staff, but the room could use a few improvements, especially regarding amenities.

It was great to unwind in the sauna and check out the pool after long days exploring. The pillows could use some serious upgrading, but overall, we were really impressed with our stay! 😄

It was just an ideal choice for a speedy visit in Hamburg, great for the money. The rooms were really nice and clean, despite being small. Try waking up early to enjoy a fun water activity at the nearby Wasserski park.

The food scene here is banging! Grab some delightfully crispy natural cut fries and swing by Ashoka for a killer curry. Plus, the hotel's location makes it easy to step out to Playground Coffee for a caffeine fix. Also, the U-Bahn is a hop away, making it super simple to navigate the city, which is a major win.
It would've been cool to brew coffee in the room or sneak a cup to the smoking lounge – but no coffee-making facilities were present. The room felt a bit pricey for what it was, even though it felt more spacious and comfy than my usual stay.

Recommend it for solo travelers
The place is clean and the staff was friendly the breakfast was nice. I was really impressed with how close it was to all the action, just a short walk from the lively spots.
It wasn't inexpensive but for the quality, I'd say it was justified.
